Laboratory of Organic Solar Cells
The laboratory of Organic Solar Cells focus its research activities on the study of novel thin-film materials and device configuration for the next generation of solar cells. These cells must be efficient, low cost and flexible.
Research specific areas are the fabrication of organic solar cells with p-i-n structure using small-molecules or polymer semiconductor, interface engineering, p and n doping level optimization, and substrate texturization on a nanometer scale for enhanced efficiency.
The electronic transport mechanisms in organic semiconductors are studied through Thin-Film Transistors devices (TFTs).
