Laboratory of Nanotechnology of Biomaterials
The Laboratory of Nanotechnology of Biomaterials is focused on the design of new biocompatible materials with a functionalized surface at nanoscale for tissue repair and substitution as well as for tissue engineering.
The Laboratory have access to specific equipment as (non-exhaustive list): SEM, IM, XPS, ICP-MS, contact angle measurements, Z potential, quartz crystal microbalance (QCM), micro and nanodurometers, X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), etc. It also numbers personnel with the expertise for a biological characterization of the biomaterial-tissue interface.
