Pyramids
are convex polyhedra with any one polygonal face (the base) and all the
other faces triangular, resulting from joining a point (vertex) with the
vertices of the base. Its volume is a third of the area of the base
multiplied by the height of the vertex from the base. Two pyramids with
the same base that are joined form a bipyramid. |
