The U-Ranking, an indicator system designed to measure the results and productivity of Spanish universities, is produced by the BBVA Foundation and the Valencian Institute of Economic Research (Ivie). It analyses 61 universities, 48 public and 13 private. This year's report gives the universities analysed 12 different scores according to a synthetic index obtained from 25 indicators of teaching, research and innovation, and technological development.
