It also provides information on the customs and traditions of the Catalan people (30 tracks). |

This website is designed to inform people about the languages that are spoken in Catalonia and at UPC particularly. It aims to answer questions such as: What is Catalan? How many people speak it? How much is it used at the University? Is it difficult to learn? Is it compulsory for someone to know the language before coming here? Are all of the subjects taught in Spanish?

UPC's cultural and linguistic induction programme. Activities are organised for mobility students, such as welcome sessions, the Induction Week, cultural workshops, theatre, basic Catalan language courses, conversation groups and day trips to discover Catalonia.

A guide to Barcelona and Catalan culture published in English and Spanish. It is designed for mobility students who have just arrived in the city and offers guidelines on what they might like to go out and discover for themselves, including fashion, music, architecture, history and art. It also provides comments and thoughts on the workings of Catalan society.
