Enrolment
To finalise the enrolment process, the department responsible for each master’s
degree will notify you of the date, place and documents that you need to prove you
meet the entrance requirements.
The documents required will vary depending on the institution that awarded the
qualification or the qualification that entitles the applicant to be admitted to
the master’s degree course:
Qualifications taken at UPC schools
Curriculum Vitae
If the applicant has other qualifications that are related to the
subject area of the master’s degree and are different from those provided
to meet the entrance requirements, the original certificates and copies
(or certified copies) must be included in the application.
Qualifications taken at schools affiliated with the UPC
or any other Spanish university.
In addition to the documents detailed above, applicants must provide:
Photocopy of Spanish ID (DNI), foreigner’s ID (NIE) or passport.
Original and photocopy (or certified copy) of the degree certificate
that entitles the applicant to be admitted the master’s degree or proof
of payment for the degree certificate.
Original and photocopy (or certified copy) of a certificate issued by
the institution that awarded the qualification that includes details of the
subjects taken. The certificate must include information about the number
of hours and credits studied and the mark for each subject, as well as the
final average mark obtained by the student.
Any other documentation required for admission to a specific master’s degree course.
Qualifications taken at foreign universities and higher education institutions
Photocopy of Spanish ID (DNI), foreigner’s ID (NIE) or passport.
Original and photocopy (or certified copy) of the homologation
of the qualification that entitles the applicant to be admitted to
the master’s degree.
If the qualification has not been homologated, applicants must
provide the original and a photocopy (or certified copy) of the degree
certificate that was awarded by the university or the education
authority of the country to which the university belongs. This document
must confirm that the duration of the degree was at least three years
and that it is a valid precursor to postgraduate study in that country.
If that is not possible, it must indicate the level of higher education
that the degree gives access to in the country where it was awarded.
Original and photocopy (or certified copy) of a certificate from the
institution that awarded the qualification that includes details of the
subjects taken. The certificate must give details of the number of hours
and credits studied and must include the mark awarded for each subject.
This certificate must also contain information on the marking scheme and
how marks are awarded.
If the applicant holds other qualifications that are related to the
subject area of the master’s degree applied for and are different from
those provided to meet the entrance requirements, the original certificates
and copies (or certified copies) must be included in the application.
Important. All documents issued in countries that do not belong to the European Union must be stamped and legalised by the appropriate government department.
Legalisation of documents issued abroad
Once the validity of the documentation has been checked, enrolment for the course can continue. Once the enrolment fees have been paid, the enrolment process is complete and the applicant is a student on the UPC’s master’s degree.
