Carles Rúa

Carles Rúa Costa is an industrial engineer (specializing in Industrial Organization). His professional activity has developed in the fields of logistics and information systems for management, which has acted as a practicing engineer by his own and on behalf of other consulting firms. Currently he is working at the Port Authority of Barcelona as responsible for organization and Corporate Quality, where among other activities, its functions are the design of processes and procedures and internal improvement. At university, he is teaching at the Department of Management of the UPC and developing his research at Institute of Industrial Control Systems. He is also director of the Executive Master in Integrated Logistics and Supply Chain Management and professor at the European School of Short Sea Shipping.
