Ole Thorson Jorgensen

Born in Copenhagen in 1941. Civil engineer and Ph.D. from the Politechnical University of Denmark 1964 and Barcelona 1983. Specialised in traffic, transport, road safety and pedestrians. Associated professor at the Politechnical University of Catalonia (Transport) during 16 years. He is President of the Spanish Traffic Accident Prevention Association (PAT), Treasurer of the European Federation of Pedestrian Associations (FEPA), Member of the board of The Spanish Association for Pedestrian Rights (Cataluña Camina) and President of International Federation of Pedestrians (IFP) from October 2005.
He has moreover realised a long list of publications, and papers for more than 100 congress's and conferences in Spain, as well as abroad covering subjects as road safety, driver behaviour, traffic, transportation, environment, etc.
