The researchers at the Department of Applied Physics cooperate with institutions through various European projects, integrated action and thematic networks, as well as with other Spanish universities and research centres. The constant interaction with researchers at other schools in Spain and abroad means that the Department regularly invites guest lecturers to deliver lectures and seminars on topics related to its research. The Department has also obtained the Quality Award from the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation for its doctoral programme.
