The research carried out by the Department of Software comprises a wide range of projects related to software and artificial intelligence. It is actively involved with the following centres: the Institute of Robotics and Industrial Informatics (IRI), the Internet Applications Centre (CANET), the Centre for Language and Speech Technologies and Applications (TALP) and the Virtual Reality Centre (CRV). It is also involved in numerous research projects funded by the European Union and the Spanish and Catalan governments, and has signed several collaboration agreements with private companies.
