The Department of Management teaches management courses at several UPC schools and runs the doctoral degree course in Business Administration. It also participates in an interuniversity MBA with the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the University of Barcelona. The Department runs continuing education programmes in the organisation of business documentation systems, financial management for competitiveness, current techniques to enhance profitability, prevention of muscular and bone injuries, and industrial management, and a theory-based course for access to the official register of accounts auditors. It also runs an ergonomics and prevention centre, a fire laboratory and a safety and prevention laboratory.
