The Department of Engineering Design focuses on two main areas of knowledge: Engineering Design and English. It is involved in Spanish and European research projects and has entered into collaboration agreements with industry and the public administration in the aforementioned subject areas. The Department fosters teaching and teamwork in collaborative environments and has been active in organising conferences, including the Sixth International Conference on Engineering Projects in Barcelona and the International Conference of Languages for Specific Purposes (CILFE 6) in Vilanova i la Geltrú.
