The Department of Urbanism and Regional Planning provides training for professionals interested in urban design and places particular emphasis on the physical form of schemes without neglecting other very real constraints such as funding and the needs of the community. It deals with the study and design of the processes involved in urban and regional transformation and is involved in the design and planning of landscapes and in the disciplines that affect landscape architecture and garden design.
