Research at the Department of Applied Mathematics IV is divided among research groups that base their research and technology transfer activities on the publication of scientific articles, participation in European, state and regional competitive projects, and various institutional and private-sector projects. The Department also hosts scientific seminars and workshops on a regular basis. On the North Campus, it has system simulation facilities and other resources for computerised support to research.
