The master's degree in Biomedical Data Science is a master's programme in which 7 Catalan universities participate (URV, the coordinating university, and UPC, UB. UAB, UdG, UdL and UVic-UCC) and that was set in motion by the association Bioinformatics Barcelona (BIB). It is taught entirely in English and has a clear international vocation.
It aims to produce professionals and sicentists specialised in biomedical data science who are able to manage, integrate, analyse and extract information from the big data that are generated in relation to health and healthcare and who can therefore contribute to the advancement of precision medicine.
