The UPC organises advanced, free training in AI for European university students
Starting in May, the UPC will offer ten free, online courses in AI for university students across Europe, as part of the University’s Artificial Intelligence Strategy, LEIA UPC. These advanced training programmes are organised in collaboration with the BSC through the European project BSC AI Factory and aim to equip students with the technological, ethical and legal skills required to master AI.

The training programme Ethics & AI + HPC Management is part of the LEIA UPC Academy and falls within the University’s Artificial Intelligence Strategy, LEIA UPC. It comprises ten courses, which will be delivered three times over the next two years, with the first edition starting in May. In some UPC schools, students who complete this training will be awarded 3 ECTS credits. In the first edition, UPC students will be given priority in enrolment, and there will be 30 places per intake.
