Environmental and Energy are themes within the Cooperation Programme of the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7).
UPC participation in Environment and Energy funded project find its outmost representation with the participation in the KIC InnoEnergy, which is a world class alliance of top European players among companies, research institutes, universities and business schools covering the whole energy mix. It comprises more than 50 partners organised around six regional units, the Co-Location Centres (CC): Alps Valleys, Benelux, Germany, Iberia, Poland Plus and Sweden. The partners have jointly developed a strategy to tackle the weaknesses of the European innovation landscape and aim to be the leading motor for innovation in the field of sustainable energy.
