AR3L is an open source research project, under BSD license, developed by David Ameller under the supervision of Xavier Franch, as part of the activities of the GESSI research group of the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, UPC
The AR3L project automates one of the phases of software design, the assignment of responsibilities. The automation is done in base of user preferences and specifications. To carry out the automation a technological support is used, AndroMDA.
Automating the assignment of responsibilities phase we are getting closer to a new way of creating software, in which the developer works on a conceptual level with technological independence.
