ServicesLaboratori de Tecnologia Tèxtil Química. (Tecnologia i Control de Qualitat)
Equipment suitable to determine the dyeing fastness of all kinds of all known and standardized aggressive agents. Reproduction of all dyeing industrial processes, at laboratory or semi-industrial scale (pilot plants).
Application of spectrophotometric,
conductimetric, colorimetric and bioenzymatic control techniques. Pilot dyeing instruments allowing the control of all the variables influencing the process.
Optimization of processes to minimize the ecological impact.

Dyeing
Optimization of dyeing industrial processes. Integration dyeing. Processes with reduced bath. Reuse of baths and reduction of pollution.
Adsorption, diffusion and/or reaction kinetics in dyeing; influence of the types of dyes used; influence of dyeing auxiliaries. Studies on the application of new auxiliaries for dyeing and finishing. Determination of the influence of the process parameters such as thermal gradient, pH product concentrations, characteristics of the circulation cycles of baths in the presence of builders on the efficiency operations.

Quality controls
Process control; quality control, on-line & off-line

Fastness
Light fastness (Xenotest, Fadeometer). Special cases of light fastnes of auxiliary plastics used in car industry or car upholstery. Colour fastness to ageing or to industrial processes of fabrics.

Spectra
Absorption and transmission spectra (liquids and transparent materials).

Colour
Chromatic coordinates, colour differences, metameric whiteness degree.

Wool
Special studies on wool behaviour. Enzymatic applications for non-shrink wool and/or increase of tinctorial affinity.
