LIVING LAB LOW3 - Laboratory for energy efficiency, sustainable building and renewable energies
Manufactured at the UPC: 1

Energy self-sufficient solar house (LOW3 ), as LIVING LAB, which allows bioclimatic strategies, renewable energy systems and low impact construction concepts experimentation and evaluation. The equipment contains a 4.0 kWp solar photovoltaic installation, facade integrated solar thermal collectors, low energy climate system and domotic building control system, linked to temperature, relative humidity, CO2 concentration and contact sensors. LIVING LAB LOW3 fosters teaching and research activities in solar architecture field, as well as in building simulation and scientific field assessment.
