Basic 3. Consolidation and extension of the Basic level

If you are interested in... Gaining a general and detailed understanding of oral and written information in Catalan. Having conversations on topics of general interest and writing short texts. Consolidating the Basic level and obtaining an official certificate.

Anyone interested in obtaining the official Nivell bàsic de llengua catalana certificate.
Duration and delivery
  • 50 hours total (9 hours of face-to-face learning with a tutor + 41 hours of guided virtual learning)
  • 6 weeks

In order to follow the course you must attend the face-to-face sessions and devote 4.5 hours a week to self-directed learning tasks.
Credits 2 ECTS credits (for mobility students, to be recognised at the origin university)

  • Members of the UPC: €20 (free for PDI)
  • Members of UPC Alumni Premium: €90

2. Proof of payment must be sent by fax to 93 401 69 03 or by e-mail to cursos.slt@upc.edu at least two days before the course begins.
3. If you do not send proof of payment, the SLT reserves the right to cancel your registration.

Certificate Certificate of attendance: minimum 80% face-to-face classes and 80% independent learning
Certificate of completion: minimum 80% ace-to-face classes and 80% independent learning, + final examination
Level Equivalent to the Common European Framework of Reference level A2.2
