Research Centres of Catalonia (CERCA) is a programme by the Catalan government to coordinate and promote the activities of independent research centres set up in recent years that were not yet grouped under an umbrella organisation. CERCA is a first move towards the foundation of the Research Centre Agency, as foreseen in the National Research and Innovation Pact (PNRI).
