The Batlleiroig Chair aims to seek excellence in architecture to highlight the relationship between cities and nature. Under the slogan "mergin city & nature", it focuses on using nature as a tool to fight the climate emergency in urban settings.

The resources of the Chair will be divided into three areas of action, with activities and initiatives to ensure common interest and the contribution to the knowledge and excellence of the UPC's scientific and technicial community.
