Dracsys aims to offer geomechanical simulation tools that include fracture processes in energy resources (O&G, mining, geothermal) and civil and environmental engineering fields (CO2 injections, gas or waste storage in geological media, etc.). Spin-off of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (Geotechnical, Cartographic, and Geophysical Engineering Section) of UPC, specifically from the R&D results obtained from research projects of the MECMAT research group (Mechanics and Nanotechnology of Engineering Materials), generated at UPC.
