During these periods no classes or examinations will be held, although bachelor's, master's and final thesis examination committees may meet.

 

  • From 24 December 2015 to 5 January 2016 (Christmas)(1)
  • From 21 March to 28 March 2016 (Easter)(1)
  • From 1 to 31 August 2016 (Summer holidays)(1)
  • The period between 1 and 29 July is considered a teaching period for thesis examination committees and bachelor’s degree reassessment committees.

(1) If the University decides to close its facilities to save energy, the competent bodies will stipulate whether bachelor's, master's and final thesis examination committees can meet during this period.



Bachelor's degree courses

1. Pre-enrolment periods (University Access Advisory Office, OOAU)

  • General pre-enrolment in June 2015: From 2 June to 3 July 2015
  • Pre-enrolment in September 2015: 18 and 21 September 2015
  • Pre-enrolment for requalifying students in 2015: From 9 to 16 June 2015

5. Periods for applying for recognition/validation

  • Courses with semestral enrolment
    • Autumn semester: in July 2015 and from 1 to 4 September 2015

  • Courses with yearly enrolment 
    • In June, July and up to 4 September 2015


6. Periods for applying to continue on a degree course

  • Students who have not met the minimum academic progress requirements in their first year or the initial stage
    • Autumn semester 2015-2016: up to 3 February 2016
    • Spring semester 2015-2016: up to 22 July 2016
  • Students on degree courses with yearly enrolment must comply with the deadlines for students who have not passed the spring semester.


7. Deadlines for dropping subjects

  • Autumn semester: up to 30 October 2015
  • Spring semester: up to 31 March 2016

(1) Exceptionally, if the school deems it appropriate a decision may be taken after the deadline, as long as it is not after the end of the enrolment period.
(2) May 31 will advance to April 30 or extend until July 15 if, for organizational reasons, the school considers appropriate.

As of 10 July, according to the Governing Council document Criteria and Procedures for the Withdrawal of Degree Courses and Pathways, which was approved on 30 January 2013, degree courses for which there are fewer than 10 students who have paid to reserve a place will be reviewed. Students will be reassigned to other master's degrees. Before this date, the data will have been analysed and the people involved consulted.
