IWaST - II International Congress on Water Sustainability and Technology
A New International Benchmark in the Field of Water
The International Congress on Water Sustainability and Technology (IWaST) was born from the collaboration between the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and the Bolivian Catholic University San Pablo (U.C.B.), bringing together the experience and legacy of two well-established international conferences in the field of water. Its creation responds to the need for a global forum dedicated to the analysis, research, and development of solutions to the challenges associated with the sustainable management of water resources.
A Platform for Knowledge and Dialogue
IWaST brings together researchers, professionals, institutional representatives, companies, and civil society organizations with the aim of fostering the exchange of knowledge and experiences. Through its various thematic areas, the congress promotes scientific and technical discussion on key issues such as water security, water quality and pollution, water management and treatment, and the sustainability of water systems. Its multidisciplinary approach encourages the creation of synergies and collaboration across different sectors and fields of expertise.
Commitment to Sustainability
IWaST was established with the goal of contributing to the development of innovative solutions to address current and future water-related challenges. The congress reflects the commitment of its founding institutions to sustainable development, research, and knowledge transfer, promoting strategies that support the responsible and efficient management of water resources. In this way, it is becoming a key meeting point for advancing initiatives aimed at ensuring water availability and sustainability for present and future generations.
