Skills4Circularity aborda la falta de competències a la indústria tèxtil europea integrant els principis de l'economia circular, la transformació digital i la sostenibilitat en l'educació professional i superior. A mesura que la indústria fa la transició cap a principis d'economia sostenible i circular, les empreses s'enfronten a importants reptes per trobar professionals qualificats amb experiència en ecodisseny i models de negoci circulars. El projecte desenvoluparà un ecosistema de formació integral que equiparà la força laboral amb competències per al futur a través de programes modulars innovadors, com ara MOOC, bootcamps regionals i internacionals i hackathons interregionals. Aquestes oportunitats d'aprenentatge accessibles (nivells 3-8 de l'EQF) fomentaran la col·laboració transfronterera entre institucions d'educació superior, formació professional, clústers industrials, centres de recerca i responsables polítics per alinear l'educació amb les necessitats de la indústria. També es crearà un Observatori de Competències Tèxtils, una eina fonamental per proporcionar informació contínua sobre competències, anàlisis de prospectiva i recomanacions polítiques com a eina estratègica per ajudar les parts interessades a anticipar els requisits futurs i adaptar els plans d'estudi en conseqüència.

Skills4Circularity contribueix directament al Pacte per les Competències i a l'Estratègia Industrial Europea. El projecte equiparà els professionals amb competències verdes, digitals i emprenedores, garantint una indústria tèxtil competitiva, circular i impulsada per la innovació que sigui resilient, sostenible i preparada per al futur.

Objectius

• Oferir una millora immediata de les competències a través de classes magistrals de resposta ràpida
• Realitzar anàlisis prospectives per identificar perfils laborals emergents
• Implementar programes de formació integrals amb aprenentatge pràctic i pedagogies innovadores
• Establir un marc sostenible per al seguiment i la certificació de competències
• Crear un sistema de microcredencials alineat amb l'EQF que faciliti el reconeixement de competències a tot Europa
• Desenvolupar un pla per a la cooperació interregional que doni suport a la integració de polítiques i la col·laboració intersectorial.

Background

The origins of the project lie in the shortage of skilled staff in the textile and fashion industry. Because of the massive closure of the last decades, the sector has lost its attractiveness for young people and today textile companies are finding it increasingly difficult to attract new talent, especially with advanced digital skills.

On the other hand, the project responds to the need for a green and sustainable transition of the textile industry. Fashion is considered as one of the most polluting industry, partly because of the recent trends like fast fashion.

SMEs and SMEs (future) workers need to develop more competences in green fashion, in order to boost the green transformation of the sector. These competences should be acquired already during the vocational and university training of the future textile workers considered among the most polluting industries in terms of both production and subsequent disposal.

Objectives

FEA-VEE contributes to attract more young people in the fashion, textiles and clothing sectors, and thus, in producing new workforce that is VET recognized, skilled and competent for the 21st century labour needs, trained through work-based training and apprenticeships in direct liaison with the industry.

Furthermore, the project aims at the development in the fashion, textiles and clothing sectors of greener, more circular and sustainable economic models, as well as more ethical and concentrated on fair trade values.

More widely, FEA-VEE wishes to establish a Green Entrepreneurship policy reform pathway for incorporating sustainability concerns within entrepreneurial planning, while promoting entrepreneurship through start-ups and incubation, as well as entrepreneurial skills and competences among the workforce within educational institutions and after graduation as part of lifelong learning.

Among the FEA-VEE project activities, the project partnership will be engaged in the creation of innovative training materials for teachers and trainers in the textile sector. Furthermore, the implementation of a transnational cooperation platform is foreseen in order to match students and workers with training and internship opportunities throughout Europe. Finally, some partners will take care of the organization of short mobility courses for students to be held in Germany and Spain.

El projecte ADDTEX té com a finalitat reunir empreses, clústers, proveïdors d’educació superior (HEI) i proveïdors d’educació i formació professional (FP) del sector dels tèxtils tècnics per treballar conjuntament, cooperant i fomentant la innovació i les habilitats digitals i verdes com a objectiu comú. Aquestes competències són essencials pel futur de l’entorn socioeconòmic tèxtil europeu i, per tant, s’han de difondre entre els principals actors de la cadena, des dels estudiants fins a les empreses, creant un flux de coneixement òptim.

 Mission

El projecte "Skills4Smart TCLF Industries 2030" constitueix el primer pas cap a una nova comunitat sostenible dinàmica d'actors públics i privats diversos compromesos a donar suport al desenvolupament d'habilitats i oportunitats d'ocupació a tota la UE en el sector tèxtil, roba, cuir, calçat i articles de pell, que són indispensables per innovar i produir productes d'alt valor afegit.

El projecte té com a objectiu millorar la modernització i la competitivitat dels sectors de la UE Tèxtil, Confecció, Cuir i Calçat (TCLF) mitjançant el desenvolupament d'una estratègia sostenible de millora i recapacitació, que es recolza en una campanya de comunicació per atraure actors socials, econòmics i polítics.

 Objectives

• La identificació d'accions i eines concretes per tal d'anticipar i fer coincidir l'oferta de competències amb la demanda,
• La millora de la intel·ligència d'habilitats i els mecanismes d'informació mitjançant la creació de xarxes i associacions,
• La millora de l'atractiu del sector per implicar els nouvinguts, les famílies, les empreses i els responsables polítics a nivell regional, nacional i de la UE,
• La creació d'una xarxa de proveïdors d'FP, autoritats públiques i altres parts interessades que treballin conjuntament en el desenvolupament d'habilitats per a la modernització i el creixement d'aquests sectors,
• La implicació de les regions i les parts interessades privades que promouen les habilitats i la innovació en els sectors de TCLF per garantir la sostenibilitat dels resultats del projecte.

	Research on Water Regeneration Technologies and Risk Management for Reuse (REGiREU)

The REGiREU project, within the framework of the RIS3CAT 2016 call and the Catalonia ERDF Operational Programme 2014–2020, aims to develop innovative and globally competitive technology to overcome the main technological barriers that currently limit the implementation of urban and industrial wastewater regeneration for reuse.

The REGiREU project seeks to generate the knowledge needed to develop technologies that provide competitive advantages over existing solutions and to position the water sector in Catalonia among the world’s leading providers of wastewater regeneration technologies.

This project has been co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union within the framework of the Catalonia ERDF Operational Programme 2014–2020, with total funding of €760,446.23, of which €85,530.89 was allocated to the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

Mission

WINTEX project aims to fill the gap in the area of specialized services for the Tunisian textile sector with the establishment of three innovation textile centers located at the participating Universities in Tunisia:  University of Sfax, University of Monastir and the Higher Institute of Technological Studies of Ksar Hellal-ISET.

The project will promote the collaboration between the participating European organizations and the ones Tunisia, by creating a network, which may benefit the textile industry in the countries involved in the project.

WINTEX will implement activities involving capacity building of staff for the new centers, equipping centers, pilot services to promote the knowledge transfer, workshops and the launch of the Academia Textile Industry Council as catalyst of the action.

Objective

The main objective of this international initiative is to foster the university-industry collaboration to support the development of innovation in the textile sector in Tunisia.
