FEA‑VEE takes part in the ECOSYSTEX webinar on skills development in the textile sector

The European project FEA‑VEE, in which INTEXTER‑UPC participates, took part in the webinar ECOSYSTEX Insights Series #22, held on 21 May 2026, focusing on skills development and vocational education in the Textile, Clothing, Leather and Footwear (TCLF) sectors.

The session brought together four EU‑funded projects —W4TEX, FEA‑VEE, VETRINE and METASKILLS4TCLF— working on training, upskilling and adapting talent to current industry challenges.

This webinar is part of the ECOSYSTEX initiative, a European community that promotes collaboration among projects addressing sustainability and circularity in the textile ecosystem.

FEA‑VEE within the ECOSYSTEX ecosystem

FEA‑VEE’s participation in this event reinforces its integration into European innovation networks, where different projects work together to address shared challenges such as the green transition, digitalisation and the need for a skilled workforce.

In this context, the webinar highlighted how initiatives with complementary approaches —from empowerment and leadership to new training strategies— jointly contribute to strengthening the skills ecosystem of the TCLF sector.

For FEA‑VEE, being part of this type of initiative represents an opportunity to share results, build synergies and enhance the project’s impact at European level, contributing to a common vision for the future of the textile sector based on knowledge and skills.
