The UPC in the Ranking Web of Repositories: Transparent Ranking, May 2021

The May 2021 edition of the Ranking Web of Repositories: Transparent Ranking is based on the data obtained during the second week of May.  

In the global ranking, the open document repository of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, UPCommons, is ranked the world’s 20th, which is one place higher than in the last edition (September 2020). The number of records indexed in UPCommons has increased from 74,100 to 84,800. In this general list, which includes all the repositories, UPCommons remains the top Spanish repository. 

In the ranking of institutional repositories, UPCommons climbs to the 11th place worldwide, which is two places higher than in the previous edition, and is once again the leader in Spain.

Finally, in the ranking of Spanish repositories and journal portals, UPCommons continues to be ranked 3rd, behind DIALNET and the RACO (Catalan Open Access Journals).
