The UPC in the 2025 edition of the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI)

In the July 2025 edition, the publishers assessed 4,866 innovation programmes from 1,350 world-class universities. 

The UPC was featured in two categories: A3. Industrial Application and B1. Visionary Leadership. In A3, the UPC is ranked 94th (of 100) in the world and 23rd in Europe, and is the only Spanish university to be included. In B1, the UPC is ranked 35th (of 100) in the world, 6th in Europe and 1st in Spain.
