Welcome
In the context of globalisation, university rankings have become an important tool for the assessment, comparison and accountability of the almost 17,000 institutions of higher education that exist worldwide.
The principal aim of this website is to provide systematic, up-to-date information on the indicators, methodology and results of a wide range of rankings while taking into account the rankings' reputation and/or media coverage. You will find all of the information in the sections "The UPC in international rankings" and "The UPC in national rankings" at the top of the page, and below a sample of the positions achieved.
