The research group CD6 and the UPC INTEXTER Campus Terrassa presented to researchers, students, entrepreneurs, institutions, teachers of secondary schools, the media and the public interest, two innovative research projects worldwide : MODSIMTEX and OQAS

The project led by the MODSIMTEX INTEXTER of UPC will generate a new technology capable of saving tons of raw materials, time and energy for manufacturers in the textile industry. In this project, a consortium of 12 companies and research laboratories across Europe designed a system that intellectual  wise reduced by three quarters of the time and the raw material needed for the development of the machinery of production chains products with high added value. The new system will be completed in just over three years and will save more than 7% of energy companies to implement it. Modsimtex is budgeted at 4.6 million euros, of which the EU provides 3.3
