Descripció
Els orígens del projecte es troben en l' escassetat de personal qualificat en la indústria tèxtil i de la moda. A causa del tancament massiu de les últimes dècades, el sector ha perdut atractiu per als joves i avui dia les empreses tèxtils tenen cada vegada més dificultats per atraure nou talent, especialment amb habilitats digitals avançades.
D'altra banda, el projecte respon a la necessitat d'una transició verda i sostenible de la indústria tèxtil. La moda és considerada com una de les indústries més contaminants, en part per les tendències recents com el fast fashion.
Les pimes i els (futurs) treballadors de les pimes necessiten desenvolupar més competències en moda verda, per impulsar la transformació verda del sector. Aquestes competències s' haurien d' adquirir ja durant la formació professional i universitària dels futurs treballadors tèxtils considerats entre les indústries més contaminants tant en termes de producció com d' eliminació posterior.
Objectius
FEA-VEE contribueix a atraure més joves als sectors de la moda, els tèxtils i la confecció i, per tant, a produir nova mà d' obra reconeguda per la Formació Professional i Universitària, capacitada i competent per a les necessitats laborals del segle XXI, mitjançant formació en el treball i aprenentatge en contacte directe amb la indústria.
A més, el projecte té com a objectiu el desenvolupament en els sectors de la moda, els tèxtils i la confecció de models econòmics més verds, més circulars i sostenibles, així com més ètics i centrats en els valors del comerç just.
Més àmpliament, FEA-VEE vol establir un camí de reforma de la política d'Emprenedoria Verda per incorporar preocupacions de sostenibilitat dins de la planificació empresarial, alhora que promou l'esperit empresarial a través de la posada en marxa i la incubació, així com les habilitats i competències empresarials entre la força laboral dins de les institucions educatives i després de la graduació com a part de l'aprenentatge permanent.
Entre les activitats del projecte FEA-VEE, l'associació del projecte participarà en la creació de materials de formació innovadors per a professors i formadors en el sector tèxtil. A més, es preveu la implementació d' una plataforma de cooperació transnacional per connectar estudiants i treballadors amb oportunitats de formació i pràctiques a tot Europa. Finalment, alguns socis s'encarregaran de l'organització de cursos curts de mobilitat per a estudiants que es duran a terme a Alemanya i Espanya.

The project “Skills4Smart TCLF Industries 2030” constitutes the first step into a new dynamic sustainable community of diverse private/public actors committed to support skills development and employment opportunities across EU in the Textile, Clothing, Leather, Footwear and Leather Goods sector, which are indispensable to innovate and produce high-added value products.
The project aims to enhance the modernisation and competitiveness of the EU Textile, Clothing, Leather, and Footwear (TCLF) sectors through the development of a sustainable upskilling and reskilling strategy, which is supported by a communication campaign to attract social, economic and political actors.
Objectives
The identification of concrete actions and tools in order to anticipate and match skills’ supply with demand,
The improvement of skills intelligence and information mechanisms by creating networks and partnerships,
The enhancement the attractiveness of the sector to engage newcomers, families, companies, and policy makers at regional, national and EU levels,
The creation of a network of VET providers, public authorities, and other stakeholders working together on skills development for the modernisation and growth of these sectors,
The engagement of regions and private stakeholders promoting skills and innovation in TCLF sectors in order to ensure the project outcomes sustainability.

Recerca en tecnologies de regeneració d’aigua i gestió del risc per la reutilització (REGiREU)
El projecte Regireu, en el marc de la convocatòria RIS3CAT 2016 i el Programa Operatiu FEDER de Catalunya 2014-2020, té com a objectiu principal desenvolupar tecnologia innovadora i competitiva a nivell mundial que permeti superar les principals barreres tecnològiques que limiten la implementació de la regeneració d’aigües residuals urbanes i industrials per a la seva posterior reutilització. El projecte REGiREU ha de permetre generar nou coneixement necessari per desenvolupar tecnologia que aporti avantatges competitius respecte la tecnologia actual i posicionar el sector de l’aigua a Catalunya entre els principals proveïdors mundials de tecnologia per a la regeneració d’aigua residual.
Aquest projecte ha estat cofinançat pel Fons Europeu de Desenvolupament Regional de la Unió Europea en el marc del Programa operatiu FEDER de Catalunya 2014-2020 amb l’ajut per a tot el projecte de 760.446,23 € i en detall per a Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya de 85.530,89 €
Mission
WINTEX project aims to fill the gap in the area of specialized services for the Tunisian textile sector with the establishment of three innovation textile centers located at the participating Universities in Tunisia: University of Sfax, University of Monastir and the Higher Institute of Technological Studies of Ksar Hellal-ISET.
The project will promote the collaboration between the participating European organizations and the ones Tunisia, by creating a network, which may benefit the textile industry in the countries involved in the project.
WINTEX will implement activities involving capacity building of staff for the new centers, equipping centers, pilot services to promote the knowledge transfer, workshops and the launch of the Academia Textile Industry Council as catalyst of the action.
Objective
The main objective of this international initiative is to foster the university-industry collaboration to support the development of innovation in the textile sector in Tunisia.

Mission
Fostex project aims to fill the gap in the area of specialized services for the textile sector, establishing two textile centres in Jordan and upgrading two textile centres in Morocco.
The project also aims to reinforce the link between university research efforts and the textile industry to foster innovation and the manufacturing of high added value products. The textile sector in Morocco and Jordan consists of companies that have limited access to services like testing, training, research, studies, technology and financial funding instruments. The involved universities in the two countries aim to develop focal points that bring together enterprises, universities and research centres in advanced textile production. By focusing on knowledge sharing, entrepreneurial skills, socio-cultural factors and innovation potentials, Fostex contributes to fulfil the universities’ third mission, that is strengthening the ‘knowledge triangle’ by linking education with research and innovation, stimulating the social and economic development. Fostex initiatives has the ambitious and challenging purpose to push the existing centres at two Moroccan Universities – Ecole Supérieure des Industries du Textile et de l’Habillement and Université Hassan II de Casablanca – further, transforming them into innovation textile hubs addressed to companies on the first hand, providing advanced and specialized services. In parallel, the involved Jordanian universities (Jordan University of Science and Technology and Al Balqa Applied University) will set up new innovation hubs to overcome the lack of specialized support from Higher Education Institutions in the country, giving the possibilities to the companies of the sector to invest in quality, innovation and to design added value products.
Objective
The main objective of this international initiative is to foster the university-industry collaboration, to support the development of innovation in the textile sector in Morocco and Jordan, and to generate an ecosystem of advanced textile materials.
