2026 edition of SCImago Institutions Rankings has been updated

The SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR) analyse 20 indicators grouped into three major areas: research, innovation and social impact. 

The SIR analyse institutions in five sectors: government, health, universities, companies and non-profit. Results can be viewed for all sectors or by sector.

The UPC is ranked in 56 lists; within the universities sector, it is the top Spanish university in Engineering, in Computer Science, in Mathematics, in Building and Construction and in Forestry. In Engineering, in Computer Science, in Mathematics, and in Building and Construction the UPC also leads Ibero-American universities.
