The 2025 edition of World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) has been published

The 2025 edition of the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), also known as World’s Universities with Real Impact, has been released. Based on an analysis of more than 4,800 innovation programmes from 1,350 universities around the world, the ranking assesses institutions that stand out for their impact on society and industry through their capacity for innovation.

In the 2025 edition, the UPC appears in two categories: A3 (Industrial Application) and B1 (Visionary Leadership). In the Industrial Application category, the UPC is ranked 94th in the world and 23rd in Europe, and is the only Spanish university to be included. In Visionary Leadership, the UPC is ranked 35th in the world, 6th in Europe and 1st in Spain.
