2026 edition of THE WUR by Subject published

The THE World University Rankings (THE WUR by Subject) evaluate performance across 18 indicators grouped into five pillars: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry and international outlook.

Following the overall ranking published in October 2025, the subject-specific results were released in January 2026. In this latest edition, the UPC is ranked in the 301–400 band for Engineering, Computer Science and Arts and Humanities, and in the 401–500 band for Physical Sciences. The UPC is the top technical university in Spain in all four subject areas in which it is ranked.
