The UPC is ranked 131st overall and 28th for the outbound exchange student ratio indicator
The QS Europe University Rankings evaluate universities across members of the Council of Europe that meet a series of minimum requirements in terms of degrees, scientific output and reputation.
The 2026 edition—the third of its kind—ranks 958 universities, including 62 in the Spanish university system. The ranking measures performance based on 12 indicators grouped into five major dimensions: Research and Discovery (45%), Employability and Outcomes (20%), Learning Experience (5%), Global Engagement (25%) and Sustainability (5%).
In this latest edition, the UPC has been ranked 131st in the overall list, within the top 14%. Its highest scores were achieved in the two student mobility indicators, scoring 98.9 out of 100 for outbound students and 94 for inbound students. The UPC’s third best performance was in the Sustainability indicator, with a score of 91.8.
