First edition of the QS World University Rankings: Europe (2024) published

The QS World University Rankings: Europe evaluate universities across members of the Council of Europe that meet a series of minimum requirements in terms of courses and scientific output. They analyse twelve indicators in five main areas: Research, Employability and Outcomes, Learning Experience, Global Engagement and Sustainability. 

In this first edition, the UPC is ranked 129th in the overall list (top 19%), 8th among Spanish universities and 4th among Catalan universities, and is the leading Spanish technical university.

The UPC obtained its best scores in Sustainability (82.1 points out of 100) and International Research Network (78.5 points).
