The 2016 edition of the ARWU by Broad Subject Fields (Shanghai Ranking) has been published

The UPC rises in Engineering, Technology and Computer Sciences and is ranked among the top 100 universities in the world in this field.

The 2016 edition of the Academic Ranking of World Universities (Shanghai Ranking) by Field was published on 8 September.

The Ranking analyses several indicators, specially those linked to institutional research, such as researchers who are highly cited in the indexed publications in the Thomson Reuters database Web of Science.

The UPC rose from the 101–150 rank to the 76–100 rank.
