The 2026-2027 Best Global Universities Rankings (US News) have been published

The UPC remains among the world’s top 74 institutions in Optics' subject and ranks as the Top Spanish university in five subjects, including the field of Engineering.

The Best Global Universities Rankings, published by US News & World Report, classify institutions using indicators that focus on their research and reputation.

In addition to the general ranking, the Best Global Universities Rankings include fifty-one rankings by subjects.

The UPC ranks in the Top Spanish universities in five subjects, as the field of Engineering and the subjects of Optics, Civil Engineering, Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences, and Green and Sustainable Science and Technology.
