The 2026 edition of the CYD Ranking has been published

The CYD Foundation publishes a set of rankings based on analysing indicators grouped into six main areas: Teaching and Learning, Research, Knowledge Transfer, International Orientation, Contribution to Territorial Development and, in the case of rankings by subject, Graduate Employment.

For each indicator, the Ranking classifies institutions in three performance groups: high, medium and low.

The UPC participated in the 2026 edition of the CYD Ranking at the general level as an institution and in the subjects Earth Science and Environmental Science & Engineering.

Considering the frequency by performance group, the UPC leads Spanish universities in both classifications: Earth Sciences and Environmental Science & Engineering.
