The 2025 edition of the THE Impact Rankings has been published

The THE Impact Rankings assess the impact of universities’ contributions to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Institutions wishing to participate must provide information on SDG 17, Partnerships for the Goals, and at least three additional SDGs. In the 2025 edition, the UPC provided data on all of the 17 SDGs.

The ranking publishes two types of lists: an overall list calculated from the score for SDG 17 and the scores for three of the remaining SDGs, and 17 specific lists, one per goal. 

In the 2025 edition, the UPC’s best results were in SDG 7, Affordable and clean energy, SDG 9, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG 13, Climate action.
