UPC positioning report. CYD Foundation

The UPC is the university with the most patents granted for every 100 teaching and research staff members and with the most foreign doctoral students in the Spanish university system (SUE), according to the latest study by the CYD Foundation.

According to the CYD Foundation, the aim of the report is to provide each university with a concise diagnosis of its current position within the SUE. The personalised report aims to be a useful tool for assessing the institution’s situation, and the areas of work and improvement that may be identified, to enable it to perform better in the future. It analyses 27 variables and intends to be useful for benchmarking and institutional improvement processes.

The report is divided into seven main sections: characterisation; general university data; teaching; research; transfer; internationalisation; and presence of women.
