The UPC rises to the 601-800 range

The 2024 edition of the THE WUR was published in September 2023. On the occasion of the Rankings’ 20th anniversary, their methodology has been updated by incorporating a range of new indicators and adjusting the definition or weight of existing ones. With these changes, the WUR have gone from 13 to 17 indicators—18 considering the Studying Abroad indicator, which is not used in the calculations for this year. The indicators are still divided into five pillars: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, Industry and International Outlook.

In the 2024 edition, based on the updated methodology, the UPC is listed again in the 601–1000 band in the overall ranking.
