Summer course: "Towards a new scenario for scientific evaluation"

The aim of the course is to provide different viewpoints from academia, evaluation agencies, research centres and research support services on the changes occurring in scientific evaluation processes.

The presentations are divided into four areas. The first presents the historical and current context of scientific evaluation and attempts to envisage the future. The second presents several bodies in charge of tracing evaluation processes and therefore of implementing new policies. The third presents new ways of measuring the visibility and quality of research activity, including metrics and their sources. The fourth presents experiences of advising on internal evaluation processes at national and foreign universities.
