| Duration and delivery |
Online and blended learning courses with continuous assessment and a final exam. Online tutorials in the Parla.cat course. 50 hours total:
- 41 hours of guided virtual learning
- 9 hours online sessions with the tutor-group
- 6 weeks (intensive: 4 weeks)
In order to take the courses, you must devote 4.5 hours a week to self-directed learning tasks. This course continues with Basic 2.

| Certificates |
- Certificate of attendance: minimum 80% of attendance + minimum 60 points average score in Parlacat activities + minimum 75% writing and speaking tasks.
- Certificate of completion: minimum 75 % of attendance + minumum 60 points average score in Parlacat activities + minimum 75 % tasks + final test.

| Fees |
- Students at UPC schools: subsidised, €20 (registration fee). If you pass a module, the next module at Level A2 is free. €20 Second registration for each module repeated.
- Teaching and administrative staff at UPC schools: 100% subsidised (Technical, management, administrative and service staff: 2nd enrolment or more, according to the conditions in the UPC budget).
- Members of UPC Alumni, the UPC Group, associated research entities and affiliated schools: €75.

- The course fee must be paid by bank transfer to the “la Caixa” current account: IBAN: ES40 2100 3648 9922 0004 1684 / BIC: CAIXESBB. Please quote: full name, SLT and name of the course for which you wish to register.
- Proof of payment must be sent by e-mail to demana.slt@upc.edu.
- If you do not send proof of payment, the SLT reserves the right to cancel your registration
