Established in 1991, the EEIGM is a 5 year graduate engineering school which offers a unique European study path thanks to its partnerships between its umbrella university (INPL) and 5 foreign universities: Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Universität des Saarlandes in Germany, Luleå Universitet Teckniska in Sweden, AGH University of Science and Technology of Krakow in Poland and the Polytechnic Unicersity of Valencia, Spain.
These partnerships in the field of Materials Science and Engineering allow EEIGM students not only to obtain intarnationally recognised diploma but also knowledge of several foreign languages and cultures.
All EEIGM student can obtain a double, or even triple diploma. At the end of their studies, EEIGM engineers have all the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to make the best choices concerning materials and their design for any given product, for any given use. Furthermore, the ability to speak at least 3 foreign languages fluently is a huge asset for applying for jobs anywhere in the world.
