International academic cooperation agreements

The International Relations Bureau (GRI) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC) advises on, processes and oversees academic cooperation and double-degree agreements between the UPC and other international institutions and organisations. The GRI provides information on the content of current agreements.

At present, negotiating a framework academic cooperation agreement involves negotiating at least a specific agreement (for exchange students, staff or other groups). The specific agreements develop lines of cooperation in the framework agreement.

The UPC can sign specific academic cooperation agreements (for exchange or other types of cooperation) without a framework agreement having been signed beforehand.

The framework and specific agreements are signed by the UPC’s legal representative, the rector. The UPC’s schools, departments, teaching staff and the rector’s team promote the academic cooperation agreements.

If you require any further information, please contact the GRI’s International Promotion and Partnerships Unit by e-mail: convenis.sri@upc.edu
