2 scholarships for the summer course "Interculturality in Brazil: Language, Innovation and Entrepreneurship" in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Course dates
The International Office of the Centro Paula Souza (CPS) is promoting the 5th edition of its summer course, from July 21st to August 1st, 2025. This 2025, the theme of the Program is: "Interculturality in Brazil: Language, Innovation and Entrepreneurship".
Course location
The course will be taught at Fatec Sebrae – São Paulo, Brazil.
Financial conditions
The program coordination is offering 2 scholarships to UPC students.
The scholarships offered by the Centro Paula Souza are for the course (without paying tuition) and include:
- All classes in this edition of the Program.
- Teaching materials.
- Access to workshops and technical visits.
- Certificate of completion.
Participants must cover their own travel, accommodation, food and living expenses.
Language of instruction and course structure
The Program will be taught in English and is organized in 2 (two) parts:
- Intensive Portuguese Language Course, which includes technical visits and workshops, in the 1st week of the Program (July 21-25, 2025).
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship Course, in the 2nd week (July 28-August 1, 2025).

Eligibility
- Be a UPC student and be up to date with the payment of the 2024-2025 tuition.
- With proven knowledge of English at level B2 or higher.
Application deadline
Before April 8th, 2025.
How to submit your application
Before the indicated deadline, send an e-mail to the address:
int.calls-management (at) upc.edu
with the title: "Brazil summer course"
with the following information:
- name and surname
- DNI or NIE number
- UPC school or faculty where you study
- name of the UPC degree that you are studying
- contact telephone number
and attach the following documentation to your message:
- Certificate of proficiency in English. If you do not have one, you can take a level test on the European Union website
Selection process
The selection process will be carried out by the UPC International Relations Bureau. These would be prioritized by academic record (student's GPA/graduates' GPA) and based on a distribution by field of study and level of study.
The selection results will be published on this website before April 30th, 2025 ; and these results will be notified to the course coordination in Brazil.
Applicants will be informed of the result by e-mail.
At the end of May, the selected students will be contacted by the course coordination about the next steps in the processing and for the preparation of their trip.
