2 spots for UPC students, for the 2025 summer course at Wuhan University (China)

Wuhan University offers up to 2 spots for UPC students to participate in its summer school.

Programme dates and location

The summer course will take place in Wuhan, China, between the end of June and the beginning of July. There are 2 possible programs:

- Program 1: Asian Architectural Culture and Heritage
Dates: from June 23rd to July 6th, 2025.

- Program 2: Cultural Heritage and Global Perspectives
Dates: from June 30th to July 6th, 2025.

Economic conditions

Selected students will benefit from the exemption of tuition fees for the Wuhan University summer course.

The WHU summer course includes the course activities, as well as the visits within the program.

Likewise, the 2 selected UPC students will have free accommodation, in a room in a university residence on the Wuhan University campus.

Individuals must cover their own travel, living and personal expenses for the stay.

Eligibility

• People over 18 years old
• With Spanish nationality or another country, except China.
• Be a UPC undergraduate or master's student and be up to date with the payment of the 2024-2025 tuition fee.
  Therefore, PhD students, students with a UPC degree, graduates and "incoming" students who are undergoing a mobility stay at the UPC are excluded.
• With a proven knowledge of English at level B2 or higher.

Application deadline

Applications can be submitted until April 28th, 2025 at 8:00 am.

Before the indicated deadline:

1) Fill out the online form:

2) and also send an e-mail to the address: int.calls-management (at) upc.edu

with the title: "WUHAN summer course"

indicating only your name and surnames in the text of the message

and attach the following documentation to your message:

• Certificate of English language proficiency.

Attention: applications that have only filled out the online form, but have not sent the documentation before the deadline (28/04 at 8 am), will not be taken into account.

Selection process

The selection process will be carried out by the UPC International Relations Bureau. In the event of a very high number of applications, these would be prioritized by academic record (student's grade point average / graduate grade point average) and based on a distribution by field of study.

The selection result will be published on the website of this UPC International Relations Bureau before May 1st, 2025.

Applicants interested in participating in the Wuhan University summer course will be informed of the result by e-mail.

Selected individuals will have to formalize their registration on the corresponding portal before 05/05/2025, following the instructions that will be sent to them by e-mail; and they will subsequently receive information about the next steps in the process and for preparing their trip.
